Your Pet's Wellbeing

Defra regulations require that both dogs and cats are to be vaccinated immediately on arrival, against Rabies. Both dogs and cats are also treated for Ticks & Worms (where this has not already been administered).

In addition, dogs are vaccinated against Distemper, Parvovirus, Coronavirus, Hepatitis, Leptospirosis, and Parainfluenza.

Cats are also vaccinated against Feline Enteritis, Feline Chlamydiosis, Feline Herpesvirus and Feline Calicivirus. Certificates are issued for all vaccinations carried out.

On arrival in quarantine the veterinary surgeon will perform a general health check on you pet to make sure all is well, after their journey.

Our veterinary surgeon visits regularly, in accordance with Defra regulations. Dogs are also weighed on arrival and at monthly intervals, during their stay. Should any pet require treatment he will attend to the pet and liase with you regarding any additional further treatments. All veterinary fees are paid directly to the veterinary surgeon.

Should you require any extra routine vaccinations for your pet, whilst in quarantine, E.g. Kennel Cough or Feline Leukaemia, these can be arranged on your behalf. Prices for this service can be supplied on request.
